The first of four businesses, Buchan Automotive, was
formed by the brothers in the early 1980’s as an
accident repair centre for private and commercial
vehicles. Buchan Automotive specialise in high quality
body repair work for prestige vehicles while undertaking
the repairs on any of the 4x4 Hire (Scotland) fleet that
are damaged during hire.

Established in 1984 as a secondary venture within Buchan
Automotive, Buchans for Towbars is now the largest

supplier and fitter of
quality towbars to cars, vans, 4x4's and commercial
vehicles in Scotland. With a stock of over 3000 towbars
and premises in Glasgow and Edinburgh Buchans for
Towbars offer a first class fitting service and mail
order for the trade and DIY supply markets.

BA
Construction, incorporating McRae Homes, was formed in
1998 as a building and property development company
focussing on projects in and around the Cambuslang area.
It is responsible for the creation of over 50 new build
houses as well as the exclusive regeneration project
Lomond View.
